Replacement windshield weatherstrip designed for 1980-1998 Ford F-800 trucks. This direct-fit seal (without trim groove) creates a watertight, wind-noise reducing barrier between the windshield and body, protecting the cab interior from water, dust, and vibration. Constructed from durable, weather- and UV-resistant EPDM rubber, the seal restores original fit and finish for restoration or maintenance projects while providing long-lasting reliability and easy installation.
Features:
  • Fitment: 1980-1998 Ford F-800 (direct replacement)
  • Made from durable, weather- and UV-resistant EPDM rubber for long service life
  • Designed without a trim groove for vehicles that use a flush or bonded installation
  • Seals out water, wind, and dust while reducing vibration and cabin noise
  • OE-style profile restores factory fit and appearance during restoration or replacement
  • Simple install — push-in or adhesive set depending on vehicle application
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 45-90 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Plastic trim removal tool
  • Razor blade or seal scraper
  • Isopropyl alcohol and clean rags
  • Masking tape
  • Urethane windshield adhesive and caulking gun (only if required)
  • Gloves
  • Lubricant (soapy water) or spray trim lubricant
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground and protect painted surfaces with tape or cloth.
  2. Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: use a plastic trim tool to pry and a razor blade to cut away any stubborn adhesive or remnants.
  3. Clean the windshield flange and channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive, and sealant. Allow to dry completely.
  4. Test-fit the new weatherstrip around the opening to confirm orientation and fit. Trim excess if necessary using a sharp blade and measure twice before cutting.
  5. If the seal is a push-in type, lubricate the seal lip with soapy water or trim lubricant and press the seal evenly into the channel starting at one corner and working around the perimeter until fully seated.
  6. If vehicle requires adhesive/bonding, apply a continuous bead of urethane windshield adhesive to the channel per adhesive manufacturer instructions, then press the seal into place and hold with light pressure or masking tape until initial set.
  7. Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately. Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's recommended time before driving (typically 24 hours).
  8. Inspect the installed seal for uniform seating and any gaps. Replace any clips or trim removed during disassembly and test for leaks with a gentle stream of water.
