Left-hand quarter window weatherstrip designed for 1966–1977 Ford Bronco models. This seal features an integrated trim groove to accept original steel trim, restoring the correct fit and finish while preventing water intrusion, wind noise and dust. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber, it provides reliable long-term sealing, resists UV and ozone degradation, and simplifies restoration or replacement projects with a near-original profile and secure seating.
Features:
- Fits 1966–1977 Ford Bronco — left-hand (driver side) quarter window application.
- Integrated trim groove accepts steel trim for authentic appearance and secure retention.
- Durable weather-resistant rubber resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes.
- Restores factory fit to prevent leaks, reduce wind noise and block road dust.
- Direct-fit replacement for restoration or maintenance — no costly fabrications.
- Easy to compress and install for a reliable seal and long service life.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 45–90 minutes
Instructions:
- Remove the interior trim and any old steel trim from the quarter window area. Carefully pull out the old weatherstrip.
- Thoroughly clean the channel and flange surfaces with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive and corrosion. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal onto the window/frame to verify orientation (this is the left-hand piece). Confirm the trim groove faces outward to accept the steel trim.
- Apply a thin layer of soapy water or silicone spray to the seal bulb and channel to ease installation. Use weatherstrip adhesive only where the factory used adhesive or if the seal tends to move.
- Starting at the top corner, press the seal into the channel, working around the opening in short sections. Use a plastic trim tool or protected flat screwdriver to seat the seal fully without cutting or rolling the lip.
- Once the seal is fully seated, insert the steel trim into the groove. Tap gently with a rubber mallet or block if needed to seat the trim without damaging the finish.
- Secure any clips or fasteners and reinstall interior trim. Close the window and check for proper alignment, full contact of the seal, and absence of gaps.
- If adhesive was used, allow recommended cure time before exposing to water. Recheck after a short test drive for any adjustments.
