Instructions:
- Remove the old weatherstrip and any attached trim pieces; keep or remove the steel trim depending on application.
- Clean the mounting flange and surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth; remove old adhesive and debris.
- Dry-fit the new weatherstrip along the quarter window to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if necessary.
- If using adhesive, apply a thin bead to the mounting flange or as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Seat the weatherstrip into the channel, engaging the integrated groove onto the steel trim so the seal sits flush against glass and body.
- Press firmly along the entire length to ensure good contact; use masking tape or clamps as needed to hold the seal while adhesive cures.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions, then remove tape and reinstall any removed trim or hardware. Check for consistent compression and leak-free fit.
