Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lower or remove the quarter window regulator/trim as needed for access.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip and any attached steel trim using a trim tool; keep original trim if reusing.
- Clean the sealing channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and debris; allow to dry.
- Dry-fit the new weatherstrip (WCR DQ3063) into the channel and orient left-hand side correctly; ensure the trim groove aligns with the steel trim.
- If reusing steel trim, slide it into the weatherstrip's trim groove during dry fit. For better hold, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive into the channel or on the seal lip (optional).
- Starting at one end, press the weatherstrip into the channel, working along the length and seating the profile fully. Use masking tape or clamps to hold the seal in place if needed.
- Gently tap the seal into place with a rubber mallet where required, avoiding metal-to-metal impacts that could damage the trim.
- Trim any excess material at the ends with a razor knife for a clean finish and reinstall any removed interior trim or regulator components.
- Allow adhesive (if used) to cure per the manufacturer's directions before operating the window or driving the vehicle.
