Instructions:
- Park on level ground, set parking brake and disconnect negative battery terminal if desired for safety.
- Remove windshield wiper arms: mark orientation, remove wiper nut(s) with socket, and pull arms straight off (use a puller if needed).
- Remove the upper cowl cover fasteners (clips/screws) and gently lift the cowl top panel to expose the existing seals.
- Carefully remove the old cowl end seals and any retained clips; note clip placement and orientation.
- Clean mounting surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a suitable cleaner and a lint-free cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seals to confirm correct orientation, then press them into place engaging any built-in clips or retainers.
- Reinstall the cowl cover and secure all clips and screws in their original locations.
- Reinstall the wiper arms in the marked orientation, tighten nuts to factory torque (or snug then test), and verify correct operation.
- Check the seal line for gaps and perform a water test (hose) if desired to confirm no leaks.
