Features:
- Fitment: 1997–2003 Ford F-150 — right-hand (passenger side) door.
- Durable, weather-resistant rubber construction resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes.
- OEM-style profile and attachment points for a direct-fit replacement and reliable sealing.
- Prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise, and protects door edges and interior trim.
- Easy to install with basic tools — ideal for restoration or replacing worn seals.
- Helps restore factory fit and finish for improved cabin comfort and reduced road noise.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-45 minutes (plus up to 24 hours adhesive cure time if used)
Instructions:
- Open the door and fully inspect the existing weatherstrip to identify attachment points and any retaining clips or adhesive.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip by prying out clips or peeling away adhesive. Use trim tools to avoid damaging paint or trim.
- Remove any remaining adhesive and clean the channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door channel to ensure correct orientation and length. Trim excess if necessary.
- If clips are used, align the new seal with the clip locations and press each clip into place. If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Starting at the top hinge area, press the weatherstrip firmly into the channel and work your way around the door, ensuring the seal seats evenly and completely.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately and re-check alignment. Replace any trim or fasteners removed earlier.
- Close the door slowly to confirm proper closure and even sealing. Adjust as needed. If adhesive was used, allow recommended cure time before exposing to moisture.
