Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, lower the window (if possible) and disconnect battery if required for power windows.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim necessary to access the beltline and glassrun area.
- Carefully lift out the old glassruns and beltline molding; use a trim tool or screwdriver to disengage retaining clips.
- Clean the mounting channel and surrounding surfaces with a rag and cleaner to remove dirt, adhesive and corrosion.
- Inspect and replace any damaged or missing metal clips before installing the new inner beltline molding.
- Position the new beltline molding so the metal clips align with the door holes and press firmly until each clip snaps into place.
- Install the new glassruns by sliding them into the channel and seating the lower ends against the door glass track; ensure proper alignment for smooth glass travel.
- Trim any excess rubber if necessary (follow manufacturer guidance) and apply a thin coat of silicone lubricant to the rubber surfaces to aid glass movement and reduce noise.
- Reinstall door trim and hardware, taking care not to pinch the new seals, then test window operation through full travel to confirm fit and clearance.
- Check for water tightness with a light spray test (or visually inspect after rain) and re-tighten or reseat any areas where leaks or noise persist.
