The Precision Beltline Molding Kit, Left and Right Hand, 4 Piece Kit WFK 2110 80 is a direct-replacement trim set designed to protect and finish the vehicle beltline. The four precision-formed pieces secure the window-to-body seam, guard paint from chips and door dings, and help reduce wind noise and water intrusion. Built for long-term durability with a corrosion-resistant finish, this kit restores factory appearance while offering reliable fit and straightforward installation.
Features:
- 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit (WFK 2110 80) for complete trim restoration.
- Precision-formed pieces secure the window-to-body seam and maintain alignment.
- Corrosion-resistant finish protects against weathering and preserves appearance.
- Helps reduce wind noise and prevents water intrusion and paint damage.
- Designed for direct replacement where specified; restores factory look and function.
- Simple installation with basic hand tools; ideal for restoration or maintenance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and fully lower the window (if applicable) to access beltline molding.
- Carefully pry off the old molding using a trim removal tool, working along the length to release clips without bending the door skin.
- Remove any remaining clips, adhesive residue, and dirt from the flange. Use rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth to ensure a dry, contaminant-free surface.
- Compare the new molding pieces to the originals to confirm correct left/right orientation and fit before fastening.
- If reusing clips, inspect them for damage and replace any worn clips. If the original design uses adhesive, prepare adhesive or new tape per manufacturer recommendations.
- Position the new molding onto the beltline, aligning end tabs and clip locations. Use masking tape to hold sections in place for initial alignment if needed.
- Press the molding firmly at each clip location until it snaps into place or until adhesive makes full contact. Work from one end to the other to avoid gaps.
- Verify fit and alignment, roll the window up and down (if applicable) to ensure clearance, then trim or tuck any excess material and clean the surrounding area.
