Upholstery staple gun (with appropriate staples)
Flathead and Phillips screwdrivers
Panel trim removal tool or plastic pry tool
Utility knife or scissors
Clean rag and mild cleaner
Measuring tape and masking tape
Instructions:
Remove the door panel by disconnecting any trim, screws, and clips; set panel on a clean work surface.
Carefully remove the old beltline molding and any remaining staples or adhesive from the door panel.
Test-fit each new inner beltline molding to confirm correct orientation (left/right and front/rear) and trim if necessary.
Clean the area of the door panel where the molding will attach to remove dirt and residue; allow to dry.
Align the molding along the inner door edge and hold in position using masking tape or by hand.
Using the upholstery staple gun, staple the molding to the door panel at regular intervals (approximately every 2–3 inches) to ensure a secure fit.
Trim any excess material and tuck edges for a neat finish.
Reinstall the door panel and trim pieces, then operate the window to confirm proper clearance and alignment.
