Instructions:
- Remove old weatherstrip: gently pry out existing seals and retain any clips if reusable.
- Clean mounting surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner; remove old adhesive and debris.
- Dry-fit each new seal to its corresponding location to verify orientation and length; mark trim points if needed.
- If adhesive is required, apply a continuous thin bead to the mounting flange per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Position the weatherstrip starting at one end and press firmly along the flange or into the channel; use masking tape or clamps to hold in place if needed.
- Trim excess material with scissors or a utility knife for a neat finish; ensure corners and joints are properly seated.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully as directed (typically several hours) before closing doors or exposing to moisture.
- Inspect seals for uniform compression and adjust as necessary to ensure even contact and a complete seal.
