Instructions:
- Disconnect the vehicle battery (recommended) and lower the window to a safe position if possible.
- Carefully remove the interior door panel and any vapor barrier or trim necessary to access the window regulator and glass mounting points.
- Support the glass with masking tape or a helper to prevent shifting while you work.
- Remove the fasteners or clips holding the old door glass hardware and detach the hardware from the regulator and glass.
- Transfer any reusable components and install the new PHP DD26 1449 hardware, seating clips/guides firmly onto the glass and regulator per the original orientation.
- Verify the glass is seated and aligned in the new hardware, then loosely reinstall fasteners and cycle the window to check travel and alignment.
- Tighten fasteners to secure the hardware once alignment is confirmed, reinstall the vapor barrier and door panel, then test the window operation several times.
- Re-check for proper fit, smooth operation and absence of noise; make minor adjustments as needed.
