The Precision Glass Run Channel (GRB 2110 73) is a left-or-right door glass channel that guides and seals the window as it moves, ensuring smooth operation and protecting the door interior from water and wind noise. Molded from durable EPDM rubber with an integrated felt lining, this replacement channel restores proper glass alignment, reduces vibration and rattles, and extends the life of the window system. Designed as a direct-fit service part for vehicles that use the GRB 2110 73 specification, it’s an essential component for window restoration and maintenance.
Features:
- Left- or right-hand glass run channel, part number GRB 2110 73 for vehicles using this specification.
- Made from durable EPDM rubber with felt lining for quiet operation and long wear.
- Guides and seals the door glass to reduce wind noise, rattles, and water intrusion.
- Restores smooth window travel and proper glass alignment after wear or damage.
- Direct-replacement design for easy refurbishment of door window assemblies.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Lower the window glass to a position where you can access the top of the channel (or remove the glass if necessary per vehicle procedure).
- Remove the interior door panel and any vapor barrier carefully to expose the window regulator and channel.
- Disconnect any clips or fasteners securing the old glass run channel and carefully pull the old channel out of the door frame.
- Clean the channel mounting area of dirt, old adhesive, and debris; wipe with a clean cloth and allow to dry.
- If needed, apply a light silicone lubricant to the new channel’s inner surface to ease glass installation.
- Slide the new GRB 2110 73 channel into the door frame, aligning it with factory mounting slots and ensuring the felt lining faces the glass.
- Reposition the glass into the new channel, cycling it up and down slowly to seat it and confirm smooth, even travel.
- Reattach any clips, the vapor barrier, and the interior door panel; test the window operation to ensure proper sealing and alignment.
