The Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal DWB 2110 75 is a left- or right-hand door seal designed to restore a tight, factory-like closure. It prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and protects interior trim and electronics from moisture. Molded from durable, weather-resistant rubber, the seal resists cracking and compression set for long-term reliability and is sized for straightforward replacement or restoration projects.
Features:
- Available for left- or right-hand door installation — DWB 2110 75 profile.
- Made from weather-resistant EPDM-style rubber for long life and UV resistance.
- Seals gaps to block water, wind, dust and road noise for a quieter cabin.
- Restoration-grade replacement that restores proper door fit and prevents interior damage.
- Flexible profile for easy compression and consistent sealing over repeated use.
- Simple direct-fit design — can be trimmed or adhered as needed for exact fit.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out any retainers or clips with a trim tool and peel the old seal away.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt and oils; allow to dry.
- Inspect the door flange and channel for rust or deformation; repair as needed before installing the new seal.
- Test-fit the new DWB 2110 75 seal along the door perimeter to confirm orientation (left or right) and overall length.
- If required, mark and trim excess material using a utility knife or scissors. Leave a small overlap at corners to ensure full coverage.
- Starting at the top hinge area, press the seal into the channel or onto the flange, working around the door. Use masking tape to hold sections temporarily if needed.
- If the seal uses adhesive, apply a thin even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting surface as you go; press the seal firmly into place. Use a rubber mallet or palm to seat the seal uniformly.
- Reinstall any retainers or clips removed earlier. Close and open the door several times to check for proper alignment and consistent compression; adjust trim or position if necessary.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (if used) before exposing to wet conditions.
