Instructions:
- Disconnect the vehicle battery (recommended) and lower the window until you can access mounting fasteners, or tape the glass in the up position if removal is required.
- Remove the door trim panel: pry off trim pieces, remove screws and clips, and carefully lift the panel away to expose the inner door cavity.
- Peel back or remove the moisture barrier to gain full access to the window regulator and glass mounting points.
- Support the door glass with tape or a helper to prevent it from falling once mounting hardware is removed.
- Remove the old hardware: unbolt or unclip the worn guides, clips, or fasteners from the regulator and glass.
- Compare new hardware to the old parts and transfer any necessary shims or bushings for proper fitment.
- Install the new door glass hardware in the reverse order of removal, securing bolts/clips to the manufacturer's recommended tightness.
- Carefully lower and raise the window several times to check alignment and operation. Adjust mounting position as needed for smooth travel without binding.
- Apply a light coat of silicone lubricant to guide surfaces if desired, then reattach the moisture barrier.
- Reinstall the door trim panel, reconnect any electrical connectors, and test the window operation one final time.
