Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and raise the hood for access to the cowl area.
- Carefully remove any weatherstripping or trim obstructing the cowl using a trim tool or flat screwdriver to avoid damaging surrounding panels.
- If replacing an old clip, pry out the damaged clip with a trim tool or needle-nose pliers and clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with a rag.
- Align the cowl or trim panel into its correct position so the mounting hole lines up with the retainer boss.
- Firmly push the new fastener clip into the mounting hole until it snaps into place and the panel is held securely.
- Reinstall any removed weatherstripping or trim and verify panel alignment and that the cowl is secure with no excessive movement.
