Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface, set the parking brake, and open the hood.
- Use a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to gently pry up and remove the damaged or old clip from the cowl mounting hole.
- Clean the mounting hole and surrounding area of dirt, debris, and old adhesive to ensure proper seating.
- Align the cowl panel or trim so the mounting hole lines up with the body panel hole.
- Push the replacement clip straight into the mounting hole until you hear or feel it snap into place. Use pliers for a firm, controlled push if necessary.
- Verify the cowl panel is seated evenly and that the clip holds the panel without excessive movement. Replace additional clips as needed.
