Instructions:
- Open the hood and prop it securely.
- Remove the windshield wiper arms if they obstruct cowl access (follow vehicle-specific procedure).
- Carefully remove any rubber weatherstrips or seals along the cowl edge to expose the clip locations.
- Use a trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver to pry out the old clips. Grip and remove any broken retainers with needle-nose pliers.
- Clean mounting holes and surrounding surfaces with a cloth to remove debris or corrosion.
- Position the cowl panel or trim edge over the mounting holes and align the clip with the hole.
- Push the new clip into the hole until it seats firmly and you hear or feel it click into place.
- Reinstall weatherstrips, wiper arms, and any removed components. Check that the cowl is secure and aligned.
