Reproduction of the original style 3-bolt upper ball joint designed for use with various 1964-77 Ford and Mercury models including Mustang, Falcon, Cougar, and Comet. This ball joint attaches to the upper control arm and provides a pivot point for the steering and suspension. Will install on driver or passenger side. 2 required per vehicle, Sold individually.
Ford supplied upper control arms with riveted "4-bolt" ball joints through 1969. In 1970 Ford began changing over to a 3-bolt ball joint. From 1971-up, replacement arms and service replacement ball joints from Ford and the aftermarket are 3-bolt for most 1963-77 Ford and Mercury vehicles. Be sure to check before ordering.
