Our Ford Mustang Saddle Cruiser console has a unique design that fits directly over the factory-installed console. The Cruiser is a full-length console. Which means it uses the entire space from slightly behind the front seats all the way forward past the gear selector. It has an opening for factory installed automatic or manual shifters and will not interfere with the factory hang down AC unit. Comparatively, this Cruiser Saddle is much longer and offers a more custom look compared to our standard Saddle console.
This hand-built and professionally upholstered Cruiser console uses quality materials including automotive-grade vinyl. Our design adds modern features and a new level of enjoyment while driving your classic car. For example, a thoughtfully designed armrest will provide comfort and maximum support for your arm. Even on those longer drives. The Cruiser also comes with two built in storage areas. Under the hinged armrest is a large compartment and at the front of the console is an open storage area for smaller items. Finally, and possibly the most important feature, two large drink holders are located to the right of the gear selector. You also have the option to upgrade the large drink holders to our new Mega size drink holders.
One important note, this console will NOT work if you do not have a factory (OE) console already installed. If this is the case then you will need our HumpHugger Cruiser console which has the same features but is designed to fit on the transmission tunnel. Click Here to see the HumpHugger version.

Ford Mustang Saddle Cruiser Console, 1964-1967
Very simple installation and removal, no permanent changes to the car’s interior and no tools required.
Note: If you do not have a factory (OE) console then this Saddle console will NOT work. You will need to purchase our Mustang HumpHugger Cruiser console which is designed to fit over the transmission tunnel.
Saddle consoles fit securely over the factory-installed (OE) console, between factory bucket seats. This console has an opening for factory-installed automatic or manual shifters and will not interfere with the factory hang down AC unit.
The drink holders in our consoles are made from durable, long-lasting polymers that will provide many, many years of functionality while retaining the striking appearance you expect from Classic Consoles. All drink holders come standard with a black finish around the top rim. The top rim is the area of the drink holder predominately seen when the console is installed in your vehicle so we offer you the option of four additional distinct colors & finishes to customize your console or match the existing trim package of your vehicle’s interior.
Our large-sized drink holders are included with this console, they accommodate virtually all types of soda & energy drink cans, most plastic water bottles and larger coffee cups. The bottom half of our large drink holders have a unique step down shape to allow smaller drink containers a secure hold while the upper half is large enough to hold bigger beverages with larger diameters.
You also have an option to upgrade the Large Drink Holders in this console to our brand new Mega Drink Holder. The Mega Drink holder is specifically designed to hold large, insulated beverage containers by maintaining a wide diameter from top to bottom and does not “step down" like the Large Drink Holder. We built the Mega Drink Holder as a special request from many of our great customers who wanted a better fitting drink holder for their large insulated mugs, like many of the Yeti styles.
