Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if working near electrical components.
- Remove windshield wipers and the cowl panel as needed to access the molding top edge and retaining clips.
- Carefully pry up and remove the old molding, releasing any retaining clips. Cut away any damaged sections with a utility knife if necessary.
- Clean the windshield channel and surrounding flange thoroughly using adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol; remove old sealant and debris and dry completely.
- Test-fit the new molding in place to ensure correct orientation and clip locations.
- If the kit or vehicle recommends adhesive, apply a thin bead of automotive-grade adhesive/sealant in the channel per product instructions.
- Align the new molding at one end and press it firmly into the channel, working along the perimeter and engaging clips or fasteners as you go.
- Reinstall the cowl panel and windshield wipers, torque fasteners to factory specs, and check that the molding is fully seated and even.
- Allow any adhesive/sealant to cure per manufacturer recommendations, then check for gaps and perform a water test to confirm a proper seal.
