This socket has a flared shoulder at one end to hold it in place. The flared end is captivated between the inside of the headlamp bucket and the base plate that is held in place with 6 rivets. The socket protrudes inward and is what holds the headlamp socket in place that pokes out the bottom of the headlamp. You'll need a set of our A-13011-MB (screws that look like rivets) to re-install the headlamp base plate. Sold individually.
