STANDARDThe leak-less style pumps feature a sealed front ball bearing, double-lip seal at rear of bronze bushing, stainless shaft & no end play. This is the only real solution to water pump problems in your 1930 or 1931 Model A. All water pumps come with gasket and fan mounting hardware.
These pumps match Ford's original drawings, but are made from modern material to ensure they'll last. The front grease fitting is for show only; there is no need to ever grease the front bearing. You should lightly grease the rear bearing every 500 miles. The packing nut is left loose on purpose. Please do not tighten the nut; it is for emergency use only. For further information on this, please see the installation instructions which are included with the pump.
A gasket & fan mounting hardware are included.
