A very nice chrome plated luggage rack.Note: when in the up position you see the wood slats, when in the opened position the wood slats face the ground, the trunk does not rest on the wood! . It will fit all models and years of the Model A. The trunk area is 13"x34-1/2." IMPORTANT: After mounting your luggage rack, it is VERY important you check the tightness of the bolts securing the wooden slats to the rack. They must be snug enough to secure the wooden slats but over-tightening can damage the wood. We recommend using a thread locker which is readily available from your local parts store.. If you are not familiar with this product, it is a liquid that you apply to the threads and when it dries, it secures the nut to the bolt so it doesn't back off. NOTE: Will not work with a 16" rear spare tire.
