Instructions:
- Remove the door panel and any trim needed to access the glass run channel according to the vehicle's service procedures.
- Carefully lower the window (if operable) to gain clearance or remove the glass from the regulator if recommended by the vehicle service manual.
- Inspect and remove the old glass run channel by prying out retaining clips or sliding the channel out of the metal carrier; cut through bonded sections with a utility knife if necessary.
- Clean the channel mounting area and metal carrier of old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion using a mild cleaner and cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new GRB 2110 80 channel in the door to confirm orientation and length; trim excess rubber with a utility knife if required for a proper fit.
- Apply a light coating of soapy water or silicone lubricant to the inner lip of the channel to ease installation and seat the channel into the carrier by hand.
- Work the channel into place along the full length of the carrier, tapping gently with a rubber mallet where needed to fully seat the channel without tearing.
- Reinstall the glass into the channel, ensuring the glass tracks smoothly and seals evenly along the channel lips.
- Reassemble the door components and panel, test window operation several times, and check for proper sealing and absence of wind noise or binding.
- Make any final adjustments to channel positioning or trim excess material for a flush finish.
